Mahalo nui loa to everyone who contacted us following the announcement of the Factory closure plans. Your response has been incredible and we are very grateful for your messages, personal stories, wishes and orders.

Please rest assured that we will be reaching back to everyone awaiting a quote or a response so that you still have a chance to create your personalized Philip Rickard piece before the Factory closes.

Philip Rickard has manufactured heirloom jewelry on the island of Oahu for almost 40 years. Mr. Rickard, the company's founder, devoted much of this time to uncover the true origins of the Hawaiian Heirloom Jewelry, and to honor and help perpetuate its traditions. 

Over the years the company introduced custom designs and letterings, highlighting the popular floral motifs, and Old English influences. These pieces, as attested by the many touching stories kindly shared by our customers, became family heirlooms and treasured remembrances.

As Mr. Rickard has made a decision to retire, the Factory where our products are manufactured will be closing. We will only accept personalized orders until July 1st, 2024. After this date the website will continue to operate selling limited existing stock only.

FAQs

When will I receive my custom order?
Making each handcrafted jewelry piece requires time and multiple stages. Due to increased demand, please allow even up to 40 business days for your custom order to be shipped. For "From the Vault" (Sale items) please allow approximately 7 - 10 business days. Should your order contain multiple items, these will be sent in one shipment.

If you need to receive your order before a specific day, please add a note to your order or reach out to our Customer Service at 1-808-924-7972 or e-mail us at info@philiprickard.net. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Will I still be able to order Philip Rickard jewelry after July 1, 2024?
Yes, however the pieces will only be available in selected designs and sizes, until stock lasts. We will no longer accept custom orders.

What is considered a custom order?
Any item that requires personalization such as changing the design, color, adding your name, not listed sizing, inscription etc.

Will custom/personalized items be available after July 1?
No. Our website will be changing following July 1 deadline for custom items. It will gradually switch to showcasing a selection of limited, ready-to-wear designs, sizes, and Vault (Sale) items. This process may take a few weeks.

Will I be able to have my pieces cleaned, resized, reengraved or repaired after July 1?
Once our Factory closes, we won’t be able to assist in resizing or repairs, however we may be able to offer personalized advice. Please email us at info@philiprickard.net.
